Caroline Williams is a self-taught artist born in  Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies, using pressed flowers as her medium.  From 2000 to 2013  she developed her unique style of pressing flowers on greeting cards.

This artist moved onto  creating wall collages and uses a combination of various  flowers,   leaves and foliage from our own environment.  Her work is displayed locally and internationally in homes and corporate offices.

Travel is one of Williams’ loves and she visited London in 2005. While there she went to several art galleries, the Queen’s Museum and Windsor Castle  and was so inspired.  She also travelled to Las Vegas in 2009 and visited Chihuly at City Centre.
In one of her recent trips to Europe Caroline attended a workshop in Holland. This prompted  her to start pai nting with acrylic paints and thereafter she embarked upon contemporary abstract art.

This artist is always creating new ways to diversify her art and a style to represent the season.   Her latest is  a contemporary collection of female head pieces a collection called “Mamma dis is Mas” depicting the  female masqueraders who participate in Carnival celebrationsin Trinidad and Tobago annually.  As they say here: "Carnival is woman".  Without our women there would be no Carnival.

There is never a dull moment for this artist who finds the time to paint impressionisms of some of the local birds which can be found at the Asa Wright Nature Centre and the Wild Fowl Trust.

Caroline is a member of the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago and Women in Art Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago.  This artist has held three solo exhibitions from 2005 to 2013 and has participated in several group shows over the years in Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados. She also contributes annually  to various charities in Trinidad and Tobago.
